– 3 pounds ground turkey
– 2 24 ounce cans diced tomatoes
– 2 cans red kidney beans
– 1 24 ounce tomato sauce
– 1 green pepper
– 4 cloves garlic
– 1/2 cup chili powder
– 1 tablespoon cumin
– salt and peppar
– vegetable oil
Dice green peppers, onions and garlic. In large skillet saute onions and green peppers for about 8 minutes. Add garlic and spices and saute until mixed and heated through. Add ground turkey and cook untilno longer pink. Poor into slow cooker.
Add tomatoes and drained kidney beans. Cook on low setting for 8 hours.
