Today was our Cooking Team’s second competition and it was amazing! All of the participants: Ryan, Noah, Christopher, Tristan, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Hawks, Ms. Wikse, Mr. Stephens, and myself did a great job preparing and then serving delicious chili.

We had GREAT booth neighbors and really had a wonderful time. Many people said our chili was the SPICIEST chili there and quite tasty. At one point we were even tied for fifth place. Although all that sounds very exciting the best part of the competition was when the judging results came out. When the results came out we had found out we did not place in the top five so we were a little disappointed. Then we were given a little boost of joy. We all were ready to go home until they said, ” chili cookers wait we are raffling off a prize!” So we waited and they took a name out and they yelled, ” troop 155!!”

We won the prize and the prize was a custom made Harley Davidson fire pit! So at the end of the day we all went home with smiles on our faces and a nice fancy grill for our troop. Our team is phenomenal and I am very proud of all of them, they did great!!!
